Installation and Calibration of sensors on PRO SKI carts

The first time we install the sensors on the carriage skids we must calibrate them.

It is important to perform these steps to avoid erroneous measurements in training results.

The PRO SKI Sensor App must recognize the position in which the sensors are located in order to perform correct measurements:

  • Horizontal (on machine)
  • Verticals (on ski boots)

In this case the sensors are located horizontally on the skids of the machine.

Start-up of the sensors in the PRO SKI equipment:

      • Overnight charging
      • Centered installation of indoor adhesives (white protection)
      • Assembly of sensors on their brackets
      • Ignition
      • Download the App (IOS - Android)
      • Calibrate Sensors

Video with the complete process

The sensors are placed on the machine with the power buttons on the outer sides with the Red Button being the left sensor and the Blue Button the right sensor.

We proceed to calibrate the sensors with the carriage assigned to each pair of sensors.

As can be seen in the images and given that the sensors are located at the bottom of the mobile skids, they do not maintain a perfectly flat symmetry.

We will place a bar or stick on top of the skids to force symmetry between both skids and thus avoid deviations in the sensor measurements.

Once this step is completed, we will proceed to give instructions from the App.

To do this, access the User menu in the Adjustment option, select Sensor Instruction and access SET ORIGIN POSITION.

We wait about 10 seconds and everything is ready to start.

The user can record his tracks. To do so, he has to take care of starting and ending each track.

Once the session is finished, you can access the App from outside the training center to view your tracks from the "Statistics" section of the App.

NOTE:

2 different adhesives (temperature resistance) are included in the sensor box contents.

  • Targets to install in the PRO SKI equipment
  • Red to install on the skier's boots.

(Specific reds for use on the ski slopes; low temperatures)

QUICK GUIDE

Overnight charging

  • Installation of sensor brackets on skids (white protective adhesive)
  • We assemble the sensors in their brackets
  • Switching on the sensors
  • App download (Plant personnel. Required for calibration)
  • Calibrate Sensors:
      1. Place the bar on top of the carriage to equalize the position of the skids.
      2. Access "Adjustment"App
        1. Sensor Instruction /
        2. SET ORIGIN POSITION
      3. 10'' and ready to start

IMPORTANT

Switching from machine sensors (horizontal) to ski boots (vertical), or vice versa, requires the calibration step indicated for both positions each time:

  • The App needs information about the position of the sensors (Horizontal, Vertical).
  • Sensors need to be in the same plane for correct measurements

PRECAUTIONS Installation brackets

Carefully review the following operation.

OBSERVATION

If the result of your correct turns is low, check your supports and positions. The importance of the position of the knees and the forces exerted are directly proportional to the result of the number of correct turns. Look at the images

Enjoy your sensors and use their metrics to improve positions and edges
