Description

Sensor" devices linked to your App "PRO SKI®Sensor"with dual function

    • Training on a machine PRO SKI®Simulator (INDOOR)
    • On the ski slope (OUTDOOR)

It is not necessarily required to have a training machine. Any skier can have fun with the sensors on a ski slope.

Delivered with the sensor pack, two brackets with different adhesives:

    • Targets for using the sensors on the machine PRO SKI® (Module B Type)
    • Red to be placed in the skier's boots. Resistant to low temperatures

The sensors in the skier's boots allow you to do training on a machine with bindings or P Type module, and because they are PRO SKI®Simulator with bindings or P Type module, and since they are REMOVABLE you can also use them on the ski slope.

You have to associate them to your App "PRO SKI®Sensor"to obtain data.

The App PRO SKI®Sensor will give the user the option to select two different modes; INDOOR and OUTDOOR.

If the skier does not have an equipment PRO SKI®Simulatorequipment, he/she will only use the OUTDOOR mode.

The modes offered by the App PRO SKI®Sensor are independent, since each mode reports different metrics:

    • INDOOR: Training to improve the technical gestures of skiing and their effect on the ski edges with a machine. PRO SKI®Simulator.
    • OUTDOOR: Challenge and fun classifying the skier's turns on any slope, any snow quality and for all ski levels. It has an Audio TUTORIAL to correct each turn in real time.

The two modes offered by "PRO SKI®SensorThe two modes offered by the "PRO SKI® Sensor" report in real time and record and record Tracks when the user chooses to do so for later analysis in the STATISTICS section.

PRO SKI® Sensor on a ski slope. OUTDOOR MODE

PRO SKI®Sensor in its INDOOR mode is specific for skiers who have a machine, since it contributes a good training to strengthen the technical gestures that a skier requires. PRO SKI®SimulatorIt is a good training tool to reinforce the technical gestures required by a skier and also has the great advantage of being EXTRA RETAILABLE so you can have fun with them on the ski slope.

PRO SKI®Sensor in its OUTDOOR mode offers any skier the possibility to have fun on the ski slopes by classifying his turns and also accessing his Audio TUTORIAL, to help him correct his skis at the moment he is making the turn.

Therefore, its use in OUTDOOR is aimed at any skier, even if he/she does not have a training machine.

PRO SKI®Sensor OUTDOOR "TURN CLASSIFICATION CHALLENGE + TUTORIAL".

To use the sensors in OUTDOOR mode, the skier wears them on the back of his boots and communicates with his App.

PRO SKI®Sensor in its OUTDOOR mode will always work with your metrics regardless of snow quality, slope difficulty, weather or skier level.

In each descent and whenever we start a Track and finish it, the sensors will classify each of the turns made taking into account the following skills of the skier in each turn:

    • The edges of the skis are at the same angle.
    • Skis do not converge or diverge at tails or spatulas
    • Skis maintain the correct pressure in the core

If the skier meets these 3 parameters, his turn will be classified as "COMPETITION".

The sensors communicate to the App "PRO SKI®Sensor" the quality of each of the turns based on the fulfillment of the above criteria and will classify them into 4 categories:

BASIC, ADVANCED, PROFESSIONAL or COMPETITIVE

Basic and Advanced levels will be concerned with assessing the symmetries of the angulation of your edges, with the Basic level being more tolerant than the Advanced level.

The Professional turn classification, in addition to dealing with the edges, will measure the convergences and divergences of the skis.

Competition, the measurement it makes PRO SKI®Sensor is on the total parameters. Your edge angles between skis are equal, there is no convergence-divergence and you do not lose center pressure in the turn.

A skier of any level can go down the same slope in different conditions; hard snow, powder, spring, with or without visibility, green, blue, red, black, off-piste, tired, rested, with more or less speed, etc...,

PRO SKI®Sensor will always take into account the same metrics for any situation. It will depend on the skier's ability to achieve perfect turns appropriate to his level.

CHALLENGES proposed by PRO SKI® Sensor in its OUTDOOR mode:

Will you be able to meet the sensor requirements at each level to rank your turns?

Will you download the same track in different conditions and get the same result?

Will you be able to classify turns in bathtubs?

Will you manage to classify off-track turns?

On a black runway?

Do you dare to select your level in the App and activate the TUTORIAL?

Do you dare to challenge a colleague who also wears the sensors?

TUTORIAL PRO SKI® Sensor (available in OUTDOOR mode)

(Next development: "INDOOR Mode Tutorial)

The Audio Tutorial from PRO SKI®SensorAudio Tutorial, will prompt the skier in real time about the necessary corrections as he/she is making the turn, or congratulate him/her if the turn is correct and meets the criteria of the selected level.

Sensors make multiple measurements per second on each of the turns made by the skier going down a slope. They apply the criteria of the level selected in the App: Basic, Advanced, Professional or Competition.

Since, to classify the turns, the sensors extract the average of the measurements taken in each turn, the audio message will warn the skier during the turn if it is not correct, so that he/she corrects on the spot and manages to classify his/her turn in the level he/she has selected.

If the skier is meeting the requirements of the selected level, he/she will hear "Bing". When he/she makes 4 consecutive correct turns at his/her level, on the 5th turn he/she will hear a congratulatory audio and it will motivate him/her to keep on doing so.

If you receive many correction warnings (Correct your ski Edge), or in other words "The Tutorial makes your head spin", you are not at the right level: Lower the Level. You are not meeting the criteria that the App has established for that level; edge angulations, convergences or divergences in tails or spatulas or the pressure in the centering of your skis. Remember that each level has a requirement.

Practice at a lower level and advance to challenge the sensors.

AN IDEA

In Alpine Ski mode, make a Track so that the App can evaluate your skiing level according to its criteria.

In this result you will see in which level you have made the highest number of turns.

Select this level in the Tutorial and download the track.

CHALLENGES

Assuming that your level is very good, do you dare with the same level in an off-piste or a track with tubs? Interesting CHALLENGE.

Assuming you download a blue track with very good results, will you get the same results on a red track?

You record a track on a track with a perfect "Professional" level, will it be the same result on an off-piste track? Or on a blue track than on a red one, or black? In powder or spring snow?

If your level is high and therefore your turns are perfect, activate the tutorial to check that you don't miss any turn on any type of snow.

If your level is low or intermediate, activate the tutorial to force you to advance to the next level with the challenges proposed by the TUTORIAL.

A great option to force the evolution of the skier's level or also a new CHALLENGE to achieve the same classification of turns on slopes with different difficulties or types of snow and even to have fun with your usual ski group.

By going up in the saddle you will be able to compare the data and see who has classified the most Advanced, Professional or Competition turns. What will happen on the next descent? Is there an area where we are missing a turn? Do I go back down the same track to get that turn?

And after the day's skiing, do we relax and analyze the tracks? Do we compare the tracks of the same descent? Do we share the tracks with our skiing friends?

OUTDOOR STATISTICS. I record my tracks

While your sensors are connected and the App is active, each of your runs will be recorded and recorded. You decide the duration of each track; either each time you make a descent of a slope, or a recording or recording of several descents, or even the entire day of skiing. You decide the start and end of the track. In any of the options, the data will be recorded while you start and finish the track.

In each track you can access Statistics to analyze the following data:

  • The maps of the slopes you have skied in the recorded Track. You can zoom in and move around the map to analyze each turn made, you will see where your Basic, Advanced, Professional, or Competition turns have been classified. You have a different map to see each classification:
      • By clicking on the "Basic" turns total, you will see the track map where your turns were classified at this level.
      • By clicking on the "Advanced" turns total, you will see the track map where your turns were classified at this level.
      • By clicking on the total of "Professional" turns, you will see the track map where your turns were classified at this level.
      • By clicking on the "Competition" turns total, you will see the map of the track where your turns were classified at this level.
  • Maximum speed and average speed achieved
  • Distance traveled broken down by ascents and descents
  • Track duration time
  • Maximum altitude reached
  • G-Forces maximum force applied in the total number of turns
  • Heart Rate and Calories (if you have a health app on your phone)

You will see at the bottom the total number of spins performed and the spins that have been classified and that have met the metrics corresponding to each level: Basic, Advanced, Professional or Competition.

If you make a turn that does not comply with any level, the App will count it in the total number of turns made, but will not classify it in any level.

Please note that

  • A Competition turn is also a Professional, Advanced and Basic turn.
  • A Professional turn is also an Advanced and Basic turn and an Advanced turn is also a Basic turn.

Therefore, the total number of spins will be the number of Basic spins performed plus unclassified spins.

Basic Drafts + Unclassified Drafts = Total Drafts
