PRO SKI Sensor Measurements (English - Spanish)

The sensors make hundreds of measurements per second to analyze each turn and classify it into its "categories - levels" according to the parameters established for each one of them.

The sensors start measuring at 15 km/h and above.

 

Alpine Ski

  • Start a track by moving up the track
  • Lower the track
  • End of track

By uploading the track again you can see in the app the turns classified in their different categories.

The Alpine Ski mode is the recommended test to evaluate in which category you have classified the highest number of turns, before using the Tutorial Mode.

 

Tutorial Mode. You need headphones to listen to the audio

  • Select 1 "category - level".
  • Start a track
  • Lower the track

That you will hear

  • The rotation has been performed with the requirements of the selected level.
  • Correct your ski. The turn is not meeting the requirements of the selected level. You have the opportunity to correct to finish the correct turn and classify it in the selected level.
  • Keep it up, you are doing very well. You have made 5 correct turns with the requirements of the selected level.
  • Correct, Correct, Correct. You are performing turns that do not meet any of the selected level requirements. It occurs in the categories "Professional Level" and "Competition Level".

 

If the audio constantly prompts you for corrections, you have to start with a lower level category.

 

Cross Country. Specific for backcountry skiers. Information: distances traveled, altitude, time, heart rate, calories (requires health App). Classification of turns on descents.

 

Statistics

You can

  • Start a track on each descent
  • Start a track and maintain it for several descents
  • Start a track and finish it at the end of the skiing day

 

Each track shows the date on which it was made, the duration time and the distance traveled. You will identify each of your turns and you will be able to analyze all your metrics and situation graphs with the GPS routes reflected on the situation map.
